Beach plastic, balloons and the detritus of our lives arranged into still-lifes to make large scale, deceptively beautiful yet confrontational prints.

Plastic constitutes 90 per cent of all rubbish floating in the oceans. They don't biodegrade and remain in the sea for hundreds of years, breaking up into ever-smaller particles.  Microscopic pieces can be found everywhere in the oceans, even inside plankton, the keystone of the marine food chain. Every little piece of plastic manufactured in the past 50 years that made it into the ocean is still out there somewhere. Ninety-five percent of what we buy we throw away.
